We collaborate with schools, shelters, and communities to establish shelter-based, after-school tutoring and cultural enrichment opportunities. This educational support, provided by committed and caring volunteers, will help students to break the cycle of homelessness that threatens their futures and communities.</span> <div><div><div><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">We currently serve seven separate distinct shelters throughout the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Chicagoland</span> area. These include: Maria's in in <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Englewood</span>; Thelma's in <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Ashburn</span> Park; Tab South in Gresham; Tab West in East Garfield Park; Great Hope in Little Village/Pilsen; <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Ubuntu</span> in Brighton Park and Cornerstone Connection Community Center in Uptown. </span></div><div><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"><a href="http://www.chicagohopes.org/"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">ChicagoHopes</span></a> provides a monthly newsletter with volunteer profiles, partnership profiles, as well as other interesting projects going on.
